IMMERSION

A body of liquid photographed as architecture.

Vertical still of a submerged form, liquid reading as structure

Medium

Still study / vitrine

Liquid is usually shot for motion. Held still and lit from a single side, it stops being splash and becomes structure — planes, edges, a load-bearing volume.

Vertical again, because depth reads better down a tall frame than across a wide one.

Detail of the interface between the form and the liquid around it

Our argument that liquid does not have to be kinetic to be interesting.
